The PAI personality test describes the traits associated with personality disorders. It is mainly used in a clinical context, but can be used in a selection context by psychologists to identify candidates with a personality disorder that could affect their work.

 

Personality inventories that use the model of the five main dimensions of personality more accurately predict the relevant criteria to be considered, with validity values of 0.43 (Emotional stability), 0.35 (Extraversion–Ambition) , 0.34 (Agreeableness), 0.36 (Awareness) and 0.34 (Openness) (Hogan and Holland 2003).
