TFET- Written French test

Many workers operate in environments where proficiency in French is essential for performing their daily tasks. The Test of Written French at Work (TFET) assesses a writer's ability to express their ideas in writing using error-free language to effectively convey information.

This is a tool for assessing written French skills that measures knowledge related to conjugation, grammatical and lexical spelling, vocabulary, syntax and punctuation.

The TFET can be used in a recruitment process to validate proficiency in written French for the following job categories:

  1. Administrative staff

  2. Teacher

  3. Professional

  4. Administrator


It provides a measure of knowledge of the rules of written French on six scales:

  1. Conjugation

  2. Grammatical spelling

  3. Lexical spelling

  4. Vocabulary

  5. Syntax

  6. Punctuation
